Installation
1. All metal parts must be galvanized, and pay attention to protecting the galvanized layer during operation.
2. Use galvanized steel pipe to make the needle tip. The thickness of the pipe wall shall not be less than 3mm, and the length of the needle tip brushed with tin shall not be less than 70mm. 3. The lightning protection tower should be installed vertically and firmly. The allowable deviation of verticality is 3/1000.
4. Welding requirements Welding should use lap welding, and the lap length must comply with the following regulations:
5. The flat steel is twice its width (and at least 3 edges are welded).
6. Round steel is 6 times its diameter.
7. When the round steel is connected to the flat steel, its length is 6 times the diameter of the round steel.
8. Lightning towers are generally made of round steel or steel pipes, and their diameter should not be less than the following values:
a Independent lightning tower generally uses galvanized round steel with a diameter of 19mm.
b The lightning tower on the roof is made of galvanized steel pipe with a diameter of 25mm.
c The lightning protection tower at the top of the water tower uses galvanized steel pipes with a diameter of 25mm or 40mm.
d. The lightning protection tower on the top of the chimney is made of galvanized round steel with a diameter of 25mm or a galvanized steel pipe with a diameter of 40mm. e. The lightning protection ring is made of galvanized round steel with a diameter of 12mm or galvanized flat steel with a cross-section of 100mm2. Its thickness should be 4mm.
9. The lightning tower should be made of round steel or welded steel pipe, and its diameter should not be less than the following values: the needle length is less than 1m: the round steel is 12mm, the steel pipe is 20mm, the needle length is 1-2m: the round steel is 16mm, the steel pipe is 25mm, the needle on the top of the chimney: the round steel is 20mm, the steel pipe is 40mm.
